Jones
Springs, a leading name in the UK for making leaf springs for anything
from a horse carriage to a eight wheel lorry.
Having
built a reputation for service and quality since the late Forties.
Jones
Springs began life in a blacksmith's in 1947, with brothers Clifford
and Horace Jones repairing car springs.
With
a general engineering shop, work done in-house includes the manufacture
of bushes, centre bolts and shackle pins.
Individual springs can be produced for specialist applications.
"If it is a multi-leaf spring or parabolic spring, Jones
Springs can supply it" says Director Carl Jones.
Jones
Springs now manufactures and repairs parabolic leaf springs for
major distributors and hauliers Nation-wide. "If we don't
have them in stock a broken spring can be repaired usually within
a day" says Managing Director Les Richards.
Apart
from general hauliers, Jones Springs also specialises in mobile
crane and locomotive springs.
The
purpose designed warehouse carries hundreds of springs in stock,
controlled by computer database with a quality job card system tracking
'jobs on progress'
